Kossi Amekowoyoa KOMLA-EBRI, born in Togo in 1954, is a medical surgeon who lives near Como, Italy. Among his publications: the novel Neyla (Premio Prato CittAperta 2019, translated into English), the volumes of anecdotes, Imbarazzismi, and Nuovi Imbarazzismi (translated into English, French and Arabic); the books of fables, Gente udite la mia favola and Le due lezioni (2022); a collection of short stories Avant que tombe la nuit (2021). Eleven shorts stories have been translated to English under the title of Home (Bordighera Press, 2022). He was awarded the 2005 鈥淧remio Mare Nostrum for Literature鈥 and 鈥淧remio Graphein鈥 in 2009. He is co-founder of El-Ghibli (online magazine of migration literature). Website: www.kossi-komlaebri.net
